Dominican Larimar · Education, documented specimens & direct enquiries

Editorial policy

A Larimar specimen showing blue mineralization beside its host rock.

Larimar Miner publishes information about Larimar’s mineralogy, geology, history, mining, processing, grading, authenticity, cultural significance and trade. Our commercial involvement gives us direct access to material and field knowledge. It also creates potential conflicts that must be disclosed and managed.

Evidence categories

We label material using the following categories:

Peer-reviewed research

Findings published through scholarly peer review. We describe methods, sample limitations and later research where relevant.

Official or archival record

Laws, government documents, registries and historical records. Official status does not automatically make every scientific statement inside an old document current.

Documented field observation

A dated observation tied to a person, place, specimen, photograph or measurement. Field evidence may be valuable without representing every mine or specimen.

Trade practice

Terminology or methods used by sellers, graders, miners or lapidaries. Trade vocabulary is identified as such and is not presented as formal mineralogical classification.

Cultural or spiritual belief

Symbolic, metaphysical or traditional interpretations. These are presented as beliefs and not as established medical effects.

Sources

We prefer primary scientific literature, official documents, recognized gemological references and original records. Secondary sources may be used for context but should not replace an available primary source.

Every substantive scientific or historical article should list its sources. Direct quotations are limited and attributed.

Authors and reviewers

Pages identify the author and, where appropriate, a technical, scientific, historical, safety or legal reviewer. A reviewer’s role means review of the stated area, not endorsement of every commercial activity of Larimar Miner.

Company and commercial claims

Claims about our mining, workforce, safety, community work, traceability or environmental practice require internal records and an identified reporting period.

We do not publish:

  • Guaranteed medical outcomes
  • Guaranteed investment returns
  • Named accusations without evidence, fairness and legal review
  • Invented scarcity
  • Artificial countdowns
  • Customer reviews that cannot be traced to a real interaction
  • Scientific certainty beyond the source

Conflicts of interest

Larimar Miner sells Larimar. Product links and commercial relationships should be visible. Educational conclusions must not be rewritten solely to support a sale.

Where an article discusses our own grading system, certificate or operation, it should say so directly.

Images

Images must show the stated object or clearly be labelled as illustrative. Editing may correct exposure, white balance, crop and dust, but must not change the stone’s material features, color category, fractures or inclusions.

Wet rough, backlighting, ultraviolet illumination, microscopy and enhanced contrast must be labelled.

Updating pages

Each evergreen article has a first-publication date and last substantive-review date. A changed date must correspond to a meaningful review or revision, not a ceremonial refresh performed for search engines.

Artificial intelligence

Software may assist with transcription, translation, organization and language editing. Factual claims, citations and final publication require human editorial review. No source is considered verified because a language model produced a confident sentence about it.

Medical and safety information

The website does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Mine, workshop and testing guidance cannot replace site-specific professional assessment, equipment instructions or legal requirements.

Contact

Questions about evidence or editorial decisions may be sent through the contact form using the subject “Editorial question.”
