• Heat and humidity: the area is typically hot and humid, and shade is limited
• Stairs, ladders or steep sections: some parts of the route may involve steep slopes or rough steps
• Minimum age: confirmed at booking for the chosen route; minors must be accompanied by an adult
• Maximum group size: small groups only, so that everyone can be supervised properly
• Mobility limitations: the active route is not suitable for wheelchairs or for visitors who cannot manage uneven ground
• Required footwear and clothing: closed, sturdy shoes and lightweight long clothing are expected
• Medical considerations: please tell us in advance about heart, respiratory, mobility or other conditions affected by heat and exertion
• Above-ground alternative: a less demanding above-ground option can usually be arranged on request
