About this specimen

Beautiful 16-inch strands of AAA Top Grade Larimar beads from Barahona, Dominican Republic. Bead diameters range from 9 mm to 17 mm, and every bead has a 1 mm drilled hole. The 9 mm strand contains 48 beads, with each 9 mm bead weighing approximately 1.1 grams; a 15 mm bead weighs approximately 5.5 grams. As the beads grow in scale, the Larimar pattern becomes even more impressive.

Each strand is handmade in the Dominican Republic using responsibly and safely mined Larimar. Fine material, substantial bead sizes and skilled local craftsmanship make these strands remarkable.
